Every now and then you run across someone that has actually been to "The Swamp", the field where Florida plays their home games. Not many Georgia fans have been there since our annual renewal of the rivalry is played in neutral Jacksonville. But back in 1994 and 1995 as Jacksonville's stadium was being rebuilt, Georgia traveled to Gainesville and then Florida returned the favor in Athens the following year.
If you were there (along with Nama and Ann as the only people I actually know who went
and survived the 1994 trek to Gainesville), please accept my deep appreciation.
For the rest of us, this is evidently a tradition for the gators...
