Brookwood's Shaun McGee commits

After coming to Dawg Night and then visiting Alabama on Sunday, Brookwood's Shaun McGee took his mom over to Athens Monday and called Coach Richt to commit.

Although he plays a lot of defensive end for the Broncos, he'll likely end up at one of Grantham's LB spots as a Bulldog. And it was clearly a chance to play close to home that helped make McGee's decision.

This prospective class now totals 22, with only 3 OLs committed. I realize it is very early, but when NSD is over and this class does not include 6 (preferably 7) OLs, we will continue to battle this depth problem in the trenches that has seemingly plagued us CMR's entire tenure. That being said, if we add a couple of key players at key positions plus these other linemen, this class will go a long way to getting back on the right track depth chart wise.
