Jeoffrey Pagan and Clemson have officially divorced over irreconcilable differences. The main difference was they wanted his signature Wednesday and he didn't like their stationery. Although we were never officially out of the running, we're now in a two man race with Alabama. And I think we're about to piss on Saban's elevated shoes.Which brings up the question...what about our "commits"? Are any gonna da-prick us? In a word, no. Seriously, Coach Richt and staff are putting on a clinic for how to recruit the southeast. They've had their commits locked down and sealed tight. And don't worry about Justin Scott-Wesley announcing late, he's already using Twitter to decide what jersey number he'll be at UGA.
So...today's the day...the day we officially ($$) get Ray Drew's word. He's scheduled to announce about 10:15am. No question really, that the Thomas Co DE is a Dawg...as long as Bobo pays for breakfast. And once Drew breaks all those Auburn hearts, I wonder what all of his BookFace stalkers will do in their spare time? If you are one of them, careful what you type. You just might be working against you're own self-obsessed goal.

Would we, could we, dare to believe Jenkins, Crowell, Pagan, Richardson and Turene as well? While I'm dreaming here how about if Dickson de-committed from Bama & says Go Dawgs himself?! Might as well dream big. If everyone else can over-sign, so can we.

I have no idea if these recruits will put us over the top this fall and if we will have the type season for Richt to keep his job, though I think he does well enough and I truly hope he does as well. That said, whether it is Richt or someone else this class is shaping up to be one that can be the foundation of getting us back into the race for SEC championship, which anyone knows is basically the same thing as the national championship race. Come on Crowell, Jenkins, anyone beyond them would be gravy!

@Sports Dawg Not holding my breath for Dickson, but I think with all of the others you listed our chances are somewhere between good and 100%.
@AthensHomerDawg I believe coaches were in his living room yesterday for CMRs in home visit. So we should know more this weekend.
@Paul You're right, we have no idea how they'll stack up on the field. But it sure is nice to see GA boys (especially within spitting distance of the Florida line) stay in state.
