Recruiting Roundup - 18 Days til NSD

A little more on Harrow. Here's a video of him, although it's a little hard to follow him on the field. He's #45...

Good skills. And as was commented yesterday, he recently got a qualifying test score so now the offers are coming late. He's probably an early special teamer that grows into a corner back role. Frankly, I applaud the quick trigger on the offer by Coach Richt. But it can be a fairly divisive question.

Do you agree? Do you see it more as a play for Crowell's signature? Does that really matter?

I do see it as a way to help influence Crowell, but it doesn't really bother me because we aren't oversigning and trying to get him when we all know he's just going to get cut or grey shirted, and he's also I like it because he's at a position of need for our team.

As long as we're not Sabaning it and trying to recruit 30 people when we only have space for 15 and we offer a friend like that I'm okay with it.

At worst hopefully the guy can become a hell of a special teams player. At best maybe he turns out like Zander Olgetree and fills a need down the road. Zander will probably be the starter at fb next year and everyone thought we only offered him to sure up his brother Alec.
