Bad news. After finishing 1st in SEC East, Richt ALWAYS loses more games the next year. So looking at 8 or 9 win season. Richt's had 4 1st Place SEC East finishes: 0-4 at getting more wins the next season.
Not really a fair way to evaluate I don't think. In 2002 we won 13 games. In 2003 we won 11 and lost the SECCG to the best team in the nation. Regardless, come back tomorrow when we look at CMR's career.
Darkhorse for SEC? They are better than that. Should have as good a chance to win it all as anyone in SEC. NC? Who knows, maybe. A few of their top players must stay healthy, such as AM, JJ, and those 2 huge NTs. Those 2 new kickers, the place kicker and punter, need to be very good as well.
