Nkemdiche talks leaders
DawgNation's Radi Nabulsi caught up with Grayson HS's Robert Nkemdiche to talk about how his recruitment is progressing. In the video below he discusses each school and is specifically asked about Coach Richt's newest hire, Daryl Jones as director of on-campus recruiting. Jones was a coach at Grayson Nkemdiche's freshman year.
Originally we were supposed to hear of the top player's decision this week, but he decided to take some more visits before making a commitment. Jones' hire certainly makes Nkemdiche feel more comfortable in Athens. However the competition for this kid's signature is fierce.

By the way, Bernie...sorry to go in a different direction here but...remember that DB from GMC that was flirting with UGA a few months ago? I can't remember his name but everybody got excited about him and then he disappeared. Any idea what happened to him?
Mario Alford. Georgia looked at him and I think had him on campus. Great athlete, problem is he didn't play DB last season. Coach Williams at GMC says he'd fit in fine there, but without recent tape to go on I guess Lakatos and Grantham are passing on him for now. It was my understanding that if they did officially offer, Alford would take it immediately.
I thought that I had heard somewhere that he wasn't going to be eligible. He needed more classes to be transfer in with.
Maybe so. Last I heard was that originally it was expected to take 2 years at GMC to get the credits he needed to transfer but his coach thought he had them already. But that was a couple months ago at least. Perhaps that changed.
