Inside linebackers coach Kirk Olivadotti hinted at more than just Mike Gilliard, Amarlo Herrera and Jeremy Sulek playing at injured Alec Ogletree’s inside linebacker spot. "There’s going to be even more guys, guys you haven’t even thought of yet," Olivadotti said. Asked who? "Maybe me," he said.I think it's safe to rule out Samuel. We've thought of him. Probably not Jenkins or Boykin. Dent's in the NFL...and I think Singletary is coaching in Minnesota or something.
I've got it! With Rambo returning it's freed up Commings to play corner as well. What does that do? It allows you to take one of your guys with a #1 jersey off the field and put the other one on.
So Saturday Crowell will indeed start...at Mike.

I suppose if Ogletree could move down from safety, it is possible that Rambo or Williams could also make the move. Other than that, maybe it is Bruce Figgins since we are using him much on offense. Could be another walk-on. Or maybe Bernie has all of his eligibility left and he is just being coy with this cryptic post.
On Figgins, make that "are NOT" using him much on offense.
another indictment on our staff. How is it that we are perpetually thin everywhere?
I did see Figgins make a great block for Boykin on that long sweep for a touchdown. Lets see some more of that. How bout when we can't move it up the middle, lets see a whole lot more of that.
Jarvis Jones.
Why not move Cornelius Washington to the middle and put Chase Vasser on the outside or put Vasser in the middle? I thought we did all this cross-training during the summer. Is it just me or is confusion reigning in Athens???
Oops posted this on above post. I think it will be Jarvis Jones, he was going to be a MLB until we moved Ogletree there. Drew, Gilliard or Vasser could start at OLB in Jones place. Just a wild guess.
I like where Dr. M. is going with this but here's my thought - move Cornelius to the middle and insert The "Pastor of Diaster" Ray Drew on the outside.
It's Aaron Murray!
