Dawgs @ chickens

It's finally the meat of the schedule. After Ga Southern and Central Mich we're really left with more questions than we had a month ago. Offensive line has looked good, but they were going up against inferior opponents. Defensive intensity waned late in the game against Southern after giving up a lot of yards against an offense we're going to see more of this season.Kickoff coverage has been average at best. Probably my greatest concern has been defensive pressure. One sack against CMU - are you kidding me? Did Dooley use up all of Tardit's eligibility? Where's this season's Pollack/Johnson/Moses/Howard? Can Knowshon play from a 3 point stance???

So....we go to Columbia , then Tempe before coming back home for Bama. Based on what I've seen so far, we'll have a loss before we get to our bye week. BUT IT DOESN"T COME THIS WEEK!! Not against Spurrier. The chicken D keeps this one fairly close in the first half. But I had a vision......... Richt says he plans to get Moreno the ball more.....OK....I see Stafford in that empty backfield after Moreno goes in motion out wide to flank MoMass (my vision had him splitting out to AJ's side, but logic says they run this one to the senior's side). Stafford throws a quick 5 yard stop to MoMass who then laterals to Moreno . TOUCHDOWN GEORGIA !!! "Hello Uncle Mo , welcome to the DawgNation." Bobo puts it in cruise control and the D ratchets up the pressure forcing some late mistakes.

Dawgs roll, albeit late. 34 - 13.
